Event Description:
The planning has started for 2021 Salamonie Summer Festival. Dates are Fri. July 2, Sat. July 3 and a few events on Sun. July 4.
The Festival Theme this year is: Just Imagine...Salamonie Summer Festival 2021. Festival shirts are being designed at the posting of this.
Friday starts off the festival with the Samuel Jones Breakfast, ABC SSF selfie event which will end on Saturday at fireworks. (more info to come on this event) and the Antique Tractor Show at Ag-Express (Daughtery Inc.). The band Cumberland Gap will be playing at tractor show. Parade starts at 7pm on Friday - leaving from Heritage Pointe. The band DV8 will be playing after the parade at Riverside Park (located beside Post Office. Warren Native Brian Brachula is a member of this band - welcome home Brian!
Saturday starts off with the Car, Truck and bike show below the hill at Knight Bergman Center starting at 9am - 3pm. The Family Fun Freeway will be going full force on the ball diamond below the hill all day and the Touch A Truck Event starts at 4pm-6pm. We will be having some kind of entertainment during the car show and that planning is still in the works. The Princess and Super Hero party will also take place on Saturday.
Saturday before the fireworks at Tower Park there will be a Cornhole Tourney, the Band Gunslinger will be playing before the fireworks which start at Dusk.
Food Vendors will be available at Parade on Friday, Knight Bergman Center and Tower Park on Saturday.
FUND RAISER DINNER ON MAY 15TH FROM 5:OOPM TO 7:30 PM AT KNIGHT BERGMAN CENTER AND WE WILL BE SERVING NELSONS CHICKEN. THIS WILL BE A DRIVE THRU EVENT. Come out and support us so we can make money to continue with the great events and fireworks at the Salamonie Summer Festival.
