Sock-Hop

A Sock Hop is planned as a part of the 2018 Heritage Days festivities. The Sock Hop is part of celebrating The ’50s: Community Strong, the Heritage Days theme, and will take place on Friday evening, June 22 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Participants are encourage to bring your lawn chairs, dress in ’50s garb, and dance to the music of
The Moon Cats at a location in the vicinity of Jefferson and Franklin Streets. The Moon Cats play
50s and 60s classic type music, and the sponsor of the event is Lake City Bank.
The Heritage Days car show will be also be taking place in downtown Huntington during this time as part of the celebration.
