Hotel LaFontaine Centennial Celebration

The Hotel LaFontaine was built in 1925 by J. Fred Bippus. The hotel and Egyption Swimming Pool opened to the public on October 26, 1925, closing in 1974.  After the threat of demolition, the building was renovated into senior housing and reopened as the LaFontaine Center, owned by Retirement Housing Foundation, in 1985. 

You are invited to come to an open house to mark the centennial celebration, Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 2pm-4pm at the LaFontaine Center.
