The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Lunch 'n Learn seminar on Wednesday, April 26 to discuss the most recent updates to the laws going into effect, and some trends all businesses need to know.

 

Adam Bartrom, attorney for Barnes & Thornburg, Fort Wayne, will present at the seminar. The event will be held at Faith Community Church of God, 3615 N. Norwood Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

This seminar will be full of information that every business needs to keep their eyes on. Bartrom will cover changes in how business is being done from lessons from the pandemic to employee burnout, the great resignation and everything in between. He will cover increased salaries, bonus plans, what employees actually want, and do the same rules and laws apply to those who work from home.

 

Also on the agenda will be the all-out assault on non-compete agreements, overtime rules to the shifting landscape where state governments are coming up with additional laws such as paid leave laws, marijuana usage and pay transparency. This will be a seminar full of information that is a must for all businesses of any size.
