Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
The Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival will return to Huntington this fall.
The festival was not held in 2020 as the world dealt with the outbreak of Covid-19, the first cancellation since the festival's inception in 1976.

This year's celebration will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25 and 26, at the Huntington County Fairgrounds and the adjacent Hier's Park. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. An old-time worship service is offered on Sunday at 9 a.m. Admission is charged.

The festival will abide by any Health Department restrictions in effect at the time of the event.

The festival, sponsored by Phi Chapter of Psi Iota Xi and Friends of the Festival, celebrates Hoosier life in the mid-1800s with demonstrations and re-enactments. Crafts and antiques are offered for sale, and displays feature vintage tractors, engines, bicycles, and cars.

Festival updates will be posted online at pioneerfestival.org and on the festival's Facebook page. Vendors interested in participating can find information and applications on the website, pioneerfestival.org
