Job Description

The Operations & Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing marketing content and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Huntington County Visitor Bureau under the direction and in cooperation with the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, creative abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects and platforms.

Marketing Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans.

· Ensure HCVB is up to date on marketing trends, and monitoring/reporting performance of campaigns and marketing strategies.

· Assist in creating engaging and persuasive content for various marketing materials/platforms.

· Assist with planning, coordinating and communicating with businesses, organizations and participants in preparation for content production.

· Manage social media, email marketing and digital marketing activities.

· Monitor, update, optimize website content and performance including blog posts and integrations.

· Collect information and promote area festivals and events.

· Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing events as needed.

· Other duties as needed.

Operations Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain CRM.

· Ensure income and expenses are entered, tracked, and reports generated as required.

· Prepare and process invoices and bill payment as required.

· Maintain the Welcome Center as an attractive and hospitable space.

· Assist with communications at the Welcome Center for walk-ins, calls and emails.

· Assist the Executive Director in meeting preparation.

· Assist in distribution of print assets.

· Assist in the discovery and implementation of technology advancements as applicable.

· Other duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekend or evening availability)

Salary: Annual Salary Based on Experience

Pay: $34,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
