Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance personnel across all shifts
- Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, machinery, and facility issues in a timely manner
- Support production by minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, environmental, and company policies
- Assist with installation, modification, and startup of new equipment
- Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and spare parts control
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction
- Support emergency maintenance needs and provide after-hours support when required
- Promote strong communication and teamwork between maintenance and production departments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or related training preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours to support a three-shift operation
Preferred Experience:
- Manufacturing maintenance leadership experience
- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
- Welding, fabrication, and industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment
