Position Summary:Prepare molded parts through various production operations such as: de flashing, cleaning, sanding, repairing, bonding, and inspecting, drilling, and/or packing parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Handle parts as necessary to include removing from press, line, fixture or rack and place on line, in fixture or rack.
- Remove flash, clean holes, wipe, file sand, scrape, fill, finish, touch up and assemble parts.
- Evaluate whether part meets quality standards and repair and/or segregate defective parts.
- Communicate defective parts and malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and free of unneeded materials.
- Perform various other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ability to work any scheduled overtime as needed.
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles - safety glasses are required, and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud - hearing protection is required.
